Window vinyl stickers are reverse-printed graphics that adhere to the inside of a glass window and can be viewed from the outside. They are frequently used in cars, shops, offices and even homes.

Are window vinyl stickers permanent? Can window vinyl stickers be supplied with a different adhesive?

Window stickers generally come in 3 different types:

1. Permanent adhesive
2. Removable adhesive
3. Static cling

Static cling vinyl does not have any adhesive, therefore it can be removed easily without leaving a residue. This is most commonly used for window stickers.

Removable adhesive allows you to remove the stickers after a desired length of time, however, if they are left on a surface for a long period of time, they will take on permanent properties.

Can vinyl window stickers be printed double-sided?

Yes! At Edge Stickers we print both single and double sided stickers. Double sided window stickers are used for MOT and service reminders, parking permits, membership stickers & for advertising brands/stockists. Speak to our team about double sided stickers on 01347 823 230.

How do you apply window stickers, without getting bubbles?

Step 1: Clean the surface – Ensuring the surface is clean and dust free.

Step 2: Prepare the sticker – Peel off the backing paper from the sticker, but be careful not to touch the adhesive side.

Step 3: Apply the sticker – Place the sticker onto the window, starting from one edge and carefully pressing it onto the surface as you go. This technique helps reduce the chance of trapping air underneath.

Step 4: Smooth it out – After the sticker is on the window, use a squeegee or a credit card to smooth out the sticker and remove any bubbles. Start from the center and move towards the edges. If a bubble forms, you can gently lift the sticker, release the trapped air, and smooth it back down.

Orders can be split over multiple designs as long as the DIMENSIONS OF EACH DESIGN IS THE SAME.

For example, if you require 1000 stickers, split between a blue design and a red design, then you will select 2 from the Number of Designs option (use the option “Do you want you sticker order split over multiple designs?”) from the custom stickers order page.

This will allow you to maximise your quantity discount and avoid paying twice our minimum order charge.

By default we will split your order evenly over the number of designs (e.g. for 2 designs over 1000 stickers we will print each design 500 times). However, if you wish for us to split the sticker unevenly then please let us know by entering comments in the comment field during the order process.
